Senior High Winter Retreat

What are you made to do? We have one life to live, one chance to step into the calling that God has given us. What are you going to do to take action. This past weekend the Senior High Ministry traveled to Phantom Ranch Bible Camp for an awesome weekend of tobagganing, tubing, and broomball, and worship. Jimmy Spencer did a great job talking to the students about taking action and claiming their faith. It posed a lot of great discussion and some serious questions. As a ministry how do we start taking action and showing our community we are the hands and feet of Jesus. What kind of changes would you like to see in our community, our church, and our youth program. What are you willing to do about it? I would love to continue our discussion from the retreat. If you didn't go on the retreat, what do think? How do you feel like you can make a difference. Are you satisfied with the "Church" (the body of believers). What are some great things the church is doing?

"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:18

We have power- Jesus is holding up this broken world saying "$1,000,000" bucks- so who's gona take it? Let's jump for it like we would if we played Commando (ehm.. Melissa, this is a cue).

I say we get going. Maybe some of our meetings on Sundays are at a soup kitchen, or hanging out with others who need Jesus (which is EVERYBODY!)

:) In Christ, Sister Emile
